Information for Visitors
Who are we?
Flint Evangelical Church consists of people from all ages and different backgrounds. Whoever you are you are assured a very warm welcome at FEC. When to arrive If it is your first visit then it is probably best to turn up in the morning at around 10.20am or in the evening at around 5:50pm. If you are driving then you'll be pleased to hear that there is plenty of free parking in the Church car park. On your arrival you'll be greeted on the door by our welcoming team who will give you some information about the Church and notices of forthcoming events. What to wear Wear whatever you feel comfortable in. We are an informal Church and accept people as they are. Some of our folk dress formally, whilst others prefer casual wear. What to expect Here is a quick summary of what you can expect at FEC. You'll find we are a friendly bunch; if you don't understand something please simply ask. We start our service at 10.30am with a welcome from our Pastor. The programme, then, varies, but includes a mixer of hymns and modern worship songs accompanied by a range of instruments, a Bible-based story for children and an illustrated Bible talk/ sermon from our Pastor or visiting speaker, which is relevant and meaningful to our modern lives. The service also includes special items such as, solo/ choir songs, video presentations and personal stories. |
Our hope is that whether you are just looking into Christianity for the
first time or have been a Christian for many years you would be blessed as you hear God speak through the Bible, respond to Him in faith and praise, and enjoy the fellowship of the Church family.
For those with disabilities We aim to be an all-inclusive Church. However, our resources are limited so we try to provide for our current attendees. If you wish to discuss specific needs please contact us. Sign language can be provided with advance notice. The Church is accessible for those with disabilities, including disable parking spaces. Exploring If you're new to Christianity then in preparation for your visit you may find the ‘what’s life about’ link useful for discovering more about God and the Christian journey. A final note If you enjoy your time with us and would like to pursue things further then you may be interested in a short course exploring the Christian faith. This is a great way to find out more about God and and the relevance of Christianity in modern life. The sessions begin with light snacks, followed by a video presentation and an interactive style study and discussion. There's plenty of opportunity to ask questions and mingle with other people also exploring Christianity for the first time. The course is completely free of charge and includes literature for you to take away. Interested? Then let us know when you visit or contact us via phone, text, email or post – you can be sure of a prompt response. |
